The goal of the Florence Giaquinto Memorial Library is to provide an environment that allows students to become lifelong learners and readers. The library supports the curriculum of the district and school and encourages the use of all materials located in the library. The staff endeavors to provide reading materials for leisure reading and reference materials for research. In addition to materials located in our library, our membership in ACCESS PA opens the collections in many libraries in Pennsylvania to our students.

The library is open each morning at 7:00 AM for students who need to research, read, or study. We close at 2:30 PM Monday through Friday.

Students may also use the library during block 5, study halls, or lunch (come in and get a pass). Books are signed out for a two week loan period and renewal options are available. Back issues of periodicals may be signed out at the end of the day and must be returned to the library by 7:15 AM on the following school day.

Some reference materials may be taken from the library on an overnight basis, however, students should take notes from these materials in the library whenever possible. In some special instances, copies may be made of reference material for the student's use outside of the library.
